AI AOS 4500™
The AI AOS™ truly separates E3 from the competition. The AI AOS™ is a highly evolved intelligent control system, not just the usual PLC. The AI AOS™ is comprised of specialized RISC based processors for AI algorithms, Atheros chip sets for the network enclave, security and encryption engine, and a PLC processor for I/O control functions. The control system is a closed control system that is managed through an operator touch screen panel. The operator's touch screen provides an interface for the initial system setup, health, status, control functions, alarms, and system alert messages.
Much like an automobile that continuously measures mass air to adjust the air fuel mixture, tire rotational speed for anti-lock brakes, the AI AOS™ is intelligently evaluating hundreds of parameters, self-checks the system and intelligently adjusts parameters real-time continuously thousands of times a minute while in operation. When in fully automatic mode, the AI AOS™ can make decisions to adjust the performance of the system, perform housekeeping tasks, communicate with other systems, report anomalous conditions, and provide status and alerts to consumers through email and SMS messaging.

The AI AOS™ is designed with fault tolerance, fault recovery and fail-safe algorithms to ensure the system operates within designed parameters and to prevent damage to the system. The operation can be fully automatic, operator initiated, or fully manual. In the fully automatic mode, the plant schedules startup and shutdown times; the system will subsequently operate without any operator intervention. The system readily accommodates day-to-day variations in operating schedule. Even CIPs can be scheduled.
Because of the modularity of the AI AOS™, optional control interfaces are available to integrate into the larger plant's enterprise control center or monitoring console station while maintaining the strict process controls needed. Remote monitoring services continuously track the system's performance metrics, flow rates, operating parameters, while providing health, status, system alert messages and accumulated savings. This is accomplished through the AI AOS™ Digital Dashboard.
CERA-CLEAR™ AI AOS™ Digital Dashboard
The AI AOS™ provides a Digital Dashboard to remote terminals for displaying near real-time performance of the system and engineering metrics, operational parameters, messages and alerts.
Dashboard views are configurable; for engineering managers, for example, the views could be configured to display performance metrics, while plant management might be more interested in Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) such as monthly recovered energy savings and monthly water savings.
The AI AOS digital dashboard plays a prominent role and integrates into our AI AOS™ remote control, remote monitoring, reporting and alert messaging for defined users. The dashboard extends itself well to the small plant and to the large enterprise environment with systems and multiple plants. The AI AOS™ Digital Dashboard supports the Apple iPad, iPhone; Android based personal electronic devices, Apple and Windows laptops and PCs.
AI AOS™ Control System Security
With all of the cyber security related threats that face business today, the AI AOS™ was designed with "Tip of the Spear" security in mind. The AI AOS™ creates a security enclave within a customer's networked environment, partitioning off all systems connected to it with the native security appliance that is part of the AI AOS™. This means non-designated users cannot see the devices in the security enclave (DMZ) and the CERA-CLEAR™ devices in the security enclave cannot see the customer's network. Remote access, remote monitoring and advanced Digital Dashboard capability is performed using state of the art encryption, VPN technology and PKI Certificates.
AI AOS™ Scalability in the Enterprise
The CERA-CLEAR™ systems scale very well to large plants and geographically dispersed enterprises. The CERA-CLEAR™ AI AOS™ is an enabler for fault tolerance across multiple systems with coordinating housekeeping and scheduling activities across the systems.
